As part of the expansion of its multi-disciplinary services in French-speaking Switzerland, Added Value Engineering SA is seeking to strengthen its HVAC division by hiring a
SANITARY ENGINEER
Your profile:
- Engineer (HES/ETH) in building technology, plumbing, or energy engineering
- Proven experience in designing and managing healthcare projects, ideally in an engineering firm
- Ability to work independently throughout all SIA phases and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with industrial and/or service sector projects; experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or food and agricultural industries is a plus
Your main responsibilities:
- Design systems for drinking water, domestic hot water, wastewater, and clear water
- Designing specialized systems: purified, softened, or demineralized water; reverse osmosis; and specialty gases
- Prepare assessments, sizing calculations, schematic diagrams, drawings, and specifications
- Manage the SIA phases: preliminary design, design, permitting, bidding, and construction
- Prepare bids, analyze proposals, and assist with the award process
- Monitor implementation, verify compliance, and participate in testing and commissioning
- Coordinate health-related interfaces with our HVAC, Industrial Processes, and EIA divisions
- Support our clients and the companies we work with on-site
Your technical skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and tools for plumbing calculations and sizing
- Knowledge of Swiss health standards and regulations (SIA, SSIGE)
- Knowledge of hygiene and energy requirements in industrial settings; GMP/ATEX certification is a plus
- Languages: Fluent in French; business-level German and/or English preferred
